This website discusses the CERCLA law which created the Superfund program as well as a specific Superfund site known as Emmell's Septic Landfill.

     Information about the history which led up to the need for regulation about hazardous sites is discussed as well as the law itself and the process of cleaning up a site.

     Emmell's Septic Landfill is a site near my school, Stockton University, and it is still in the process of remediation.
